About The Role
We are searching for an enthusiastic & dedicated individual to join our team full time.
As part of the wider management team, you must be a good timekeeper, reliable, discrete and able to work with flexibility and set an example for younger members of the team. You’ll be unflappable and have the ability to stay calm under pressure whilst maintaining good interpersonal skills and relationships.
A good sense of humor is a must along with a genuine interest in people. The rural location of The Bridges means you must hold a driving license.
Previous experience in hospitality, self-motivation, excellent communication and leadership skills are all essential.
You will work closely with the Pub Manager, to oversee day to day operations of the bar
Share and deliver an amazing experience to our customers
Assist the Pub Manager with front of house rotas
Managing walk-in, telephone and online reservations
Cellar management, stock control and ordering for the bar
Weekend & lock-up shifts
Adhering to all health and safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations
Assist the Pub Manager to develop, train and coach the team
Liaising with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient and seamless service
Engage the team to hit weekly targets
Daily banking and cash management procedures
Support the Pub Manager and Head Chef to achieve business goals
